This is a call to action for each and evey registered member of TakingITGlobal (TIG) living in Sierra Leone. You are encouraged to join the Creating Local Connections West Africa (CLCWA) project that is being implemented in Sierra Leone (http://projects.takingitglobal.org/CLCWA-SL). All you have to do now is to visit the above link and join the project team. We very much count on your collaboration and support for the smooth running of this worthy initiative.

CLCWA Sierra Leone will realise the potential of young people as development actors through information and communication technologies.

Objectives:
• Youth will have the technical skills they need to become more involved in their local and global communities
• Youth will have access to local resources that will enable them to access more opportunities
• Youth will be supported and inspired by a national network of youth oriented organizations
• Youth will connect with other peers in their local and global communities both online and offline
• Youth efforts will be recognized and will be rewarded accordingly
• National youth led/oriented organizations will be able to replicate the technology trainings in their locality
• National youth led/oriented organization’s efforts will be strengthened and supported
• Local efforts to research, support and promote ICT connectivity will be supported by CLCWA’s collaboration
• Project leaders and participants will have the knowledge to become strong advocates to their rights to ICT access
• The CLCWA national coordinator, his/her support personnel and his/her supporting organization will have the capacity of sustaining the project activities by the end of the 12 months of funding
